Section 3. Americans Must Seek the Full Truth Concerning All Enemies
We must "Remember Pearl Harbor!" We must educate ourselves! And we must swing into united and determined action against all foes!

Communist authorities, their fellow travelers and antiseptic squads, are flooding the nation with the doctrine that it is both unwise and suicidal for Americans now to agitate the issues of Communism. They argue that Russia is fighting our battles to save democracy; that our military interests and aims are identical, and that the fullest cooperation between the two nations is imperative. They further say that Stalin has proved himself to be our friend; that the Soviet Union and the Communist Party have earned our confidence, our trust and our fullest support; and that therefore all of our opposition and resistance to Communism should be suspended during the war, and that the peoples of both nations should unite, whole-heartedly, in concentrating upon the one lone task of winning the war against Hitler. To follow any other course, they urge, is born of unwarranted prejudice and shortsightedness and is a manifestation of the basest ingratitude.
Many Americans are rapidly coming to accept this line of thought, and are going so far as to argue that any other course would be an insult to Russia and may upset the ties of mutuality now existing between the two nations.
No one questions or depreciates in the least degree the outstanding valor of the Russian army and the credit that is due it for checking the Hitler hordes. And no one disputes the fact that Stalin's stopping Hitler is a world service to humanity, because it allows Russia's allies time to prepare for the great decisive struggle that is to come. But fundamentally the Russian army is fighting for Russia with American and English aid.
If what we see on the battlefields of Russia were the whole truth, the complete picture of the entire situation, with no selfish designs, no criminal deceit, and no treacherous schemes concealed, we could accept things as they appear and give Stalin our hand of confidence and friendship, wholeheartedly, and feel secure.
But, unfortunately, in concentrating our vision on Russia's courageous stand against Hitler, we see nothing of the hidden side of the picture. And the tragic fact is that in our failure to see the hidden side, and in our accepting Stalin as a friend and forgetting Communism and the past, lie the fatal seeds of our national death and the iron links of our future chains!
If Stalin is playing a double role in this war by fighting the Hitler hordes with our help, on the one hand, and is insidiously undermining our Government and our institutions and liberties on the other, and is using his efforts in fighting Hitler smokescreen to cover up his own treachery against us, I ask you, should we ignore his treachery and allow him to mature his plot, or should we expose the scheme and protect ourselves against it?
Putting the question in another way: Is there any sense in sacrificing our billions of dollars and millions of lives to save ourselves from Hitler, if in the end we are to wind up as the slaves of Stalin? Would this be “winning the war and the peace that is to follow”?
If we face a peril such as this,and I assert that we do, ought we not to know it? Ought we not to prepare ourselves to meet it?
The most tragic and terrifying calamity that could possibly happen to the whole world at the end of or immediately following this world war would be the smashing of the governments of the United States, England, and of South America by revolution and the establishment of a totalitarian dictatorship of Godless Marxism over these peoples.
Such a dictatorship would be followed by the ruthless slaughtering of millions, the confiscation of all property, the looting, desecration and closing of churches, the suppression of all religions, and the wholesale killing of priests, bishops, ministers and devout laymen. And Christian civilization would perish from the earth!
And yet, strange and fantastic as such a terrible fatality may seem, the stark truth is that just such an appalling end to these and all other free governments and peoples is contemplated and planned for in the programs of Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin, despite the fact that Soviet Russia is an ally of America and England today against Germany.
The irony of the situation is, that the American-English-Russian alliance increases by an hundred fold the peril of such a colossal, crucifying tragedy, as thus described. This is so, because of the reality and activity of the Communist Party-Soviet Union conspiracy and the existence of the oathbound obligations and zeal of the conspirators to overthrow all governments and to conquer the world for Communism.
This is not imagination. It is not conjecture. It is not insanity. It is just the calm, deliberate, sober, sane reading of the facts of the matter as they have been transmitted from the brains of the conspirators, themselves, to the printed pages of established and undeniable, original source records.
No volume of wishful thinking, protestation, condemnation, ridicule, or denials or exclamations of disgust at such a thought, will change the record or turn the course or check the force in the least degree of the Communist International conspiratory machine that is bent upon this destructive charge against all humanity.
GOD BLESS US WITH INTELLIGENCE AND WITH THE MANHOOD TO USE IT FEARLESSLY IN DEFENSE OF OUR FREEDOM
And just as surely as America or England or any other free government refuses to recognize the present active world-wide reality of the plot described and neglects to educate the people and to fortify and defend against the consummation of it, just so surely will revolution overtake all free nations in a death struggle to test the right of Godless Marxism to possess the earth and to rule all peoples upon it under the ruthless Soviet power of a Communist dictatorship.
Communists made that test in Russia and they were victorious! They attempted it in Italy, in Germany, in France and in Spain, but thus far they have failed in their purpose of conquest. They have laid the foundation for revolution in all civilized nations upon the earth and, by means of a world-wide conspiracy, they are entrenching their forces, perfecting their plans, softening the people, gaining political power, spreading their propaganda, fastening their grip upon labor organizations, and employing every scheme, trick, tactic, strategy and deception to fool the people, to weaken their governments and to hasten the hour when they can spring a revolution in every land in the hope that their leadership of it will defeat all opposition and give them supreme power over all the earth.
Indeed, the scheme is colossal, fantastic, unthinkable! But, withal, it is real, it is serious, and it is rapidly moving forward to a tragic consummation and realization.
For years this Communist power, under Soviet Union aid and direction, has concentrated its forces upon America as a key spoil that will unlock the door to world conquest. With American wealth, production, machinery and man-power under its control, the Communist party-Soviet Union Red Army machine could conquer the rest of the world. That is the aim of Stalin. That is the end toward which he is working, even now, in spite of his alliance with America.
These challenging, terrifying, unthinkable truths are established in this message in order that all America may be forewarned and forearmed to make doubly sure that the “form of treachery” practiced upon us by Japan at Pearl Harbor and Manila “shall never endanger us again” from any quarter or from any foe.
And therefore, we Americans, must seek the full truth concerning all of our enemies and we must arm ourselves against all of them and thus make certain that we shall not be surprised and overcome by any one of them.
We must "Remember Pearl Harbor!" We must educate ourselves! And we must swing into united and determined action against all foes!
